Seems clear tha Apple does not has a choice in the war between Blu-Ray and HD-DVD, but past moves show that it will play a neutral position, DVD Studio Pro 4 can authors both formats, but why would you author in a format that you can’t play in your computer? Maybe in you TV set, but this is not a move follows by Apple, because the macs has always used the techonology available in the machine by default.

Maybe Leopard brings a new redesign machine with dual writers installed and support for both format in the finder.
