Unsigned Bands need their place in Itunes
There are a lot of features missing in Itunes but a place dedicated to those good, but Unsigned Bands is the most needed. Having an Unsigned Band Space will provides Itunes with the most youthful material available, a material that is always changing, selecting the quality and the amount of space for each band won’t be an easy task, but imagine the big audience they will bring to Itunes and if Apple doesn’t want to spend any money in this risky but secure adventure, this part of Itunes can be sponsor by advertisement, bringing more fresh money to the table.
This place will acts as double edge sword, Apple helps promoting the Unsigned Bands and consumers buy their songs for a fraction of the actual price and at the same time the Unsigned Bands provide limitless music and variety in content and some money why not, positioning Itunes as the premier choice for younger rockers to deliver their music.
Maybe this starts an Ad Based Music section in Itunes when both parts win and the consumers end up having more choices and why not an American Idol Section where those with good qualification start promoting their career while providing their free samples, hurry up Apple, competition is not sleeping.
