3 Signs of Apple becoming Microsoft
Here is a list of 3 things that could make Apple looks like Microsoft, checkmark what you consider correct:
1) Failed to deliver the features it promised in a X date? YES (x) NO ( )
Apple failed to deliver Mac OS X 10.5 in the given date, so Microsoft, Microsoft spent a life creating Vista and delivered it months away the given launch date.
2) Has a Monopoly? YES (x) NO (x)
Microsoft has dominated for a long time the computer business letting almost not space for others and making deals with pc manufacturers that almost put out of business its competitors
For Apple this could be yes and not, so it is difficult to tell. Maybe the monopoly is in the Digital Music Players, the ipod is the most used and only Apple can provides material for this little device.
3) Screwed the customers and then give some money back? YES (x) NO ( )
With some lawsuits Microsoft has enjoyed has been forced to refund users for charging them more than the adecuate price for Windows, and refund a lot of money in their Xbox Division for faulty and scratchies Xboxes.
Apple droped the iphone price and in a fast move decided to refund $100 to appease the masses.

Actually you’re wrong on all accounts.
1). Apple said Spring release of MacOS X. They never said whose spring. I live in New Zealand and as such we are now nearing the middle of Spring. October is in our springtime. Therefore Apple is correct. Semantics I know but everyone just assumes things.
2). Apple has no monopoly. They are in the position that they are in because people choose Apple products over everyone else. Apple has no monopoly on the digital music market it’s just that it provides the best service.
3). Cellphones drop dramatically in very short periods of time. To think that Apple wouldn’t drop the price for the holidays makes anyone complaining very narrow minded people. Does it hurt, yes but then why does no one complain when Nokia, Motorola, or Sony Ericsson do the exact same thing? Simply because it’s Apple doing it. Get over it people, it’s happened, you didn’t get screwed, you just bought at the wrong time. Murphy’s Law: It will always be cheaper somewhere else AFTER you’ve bought it.
