Why do I *need* to use a video for my desktop? Wallpapers & screensavers only really work when, well, you aren't working. Why do I need a desktop widget of an analog clock when there's a clock sitting unobtrusively right down there in my system tray anyway? Vista's enhancements are all fluff, no substance! MS is going to have a tough time finding an end-of-lifecycle for Windows XP. It may be non-trendy & yawn-inspiring, but it is a stable product that gets the job done.
