Microsoft: Money can’t buy you a good place on the net
Microsoft has been playing its cards to takes on Google without any success, buying and securing online presence. MSN has been bleeding money for years, has been renamed, relaunched and redesigned many times and hasn’t gained any marketshare. Now Microsoft is running behind Google in the Online Ads Business and once again it shows not signs of relief in the near future.
Sometimes life Takes Visa, but this time around for Microsoft is a black hole, hundreds of millions and strategies hasn’t guaranteed the investing, why?, because Microsoft wants to play to many games and it would be impossible for any company to be good in everything, that’s the reason Google has invested all its money and time on internet related businesses, you can’t fight in too many open fronts.
Apple strategy is similar to Google, Apple realized that their strength is in Consumer Products, so they’ve spent years perfecting, caring and bringing to the market the most easy to use and reliable Consumer Products, the imac, the ipod, the iphone, all of them follow the same path, provide a good experience to the end user: US, Apple hasn’t enters the Business Sector because there is too much business to lose in the Consumer space that endeavouring in a new one won’t be the most reliable thing to do.
Apparently, on internet money can’t buy you a place, ask Microsoft.
