CES 2008: JVC expanded their micro system line with ipod docks

The new JVC UX-GP5 is a three-piece desktop audio system that offers the usual CD and AM/FM playback, but also offers convenient iPod playback through an iPod dock built into the front panel. The main unit and both speakers are finished in black. Controls and the iPod dock are illuminated in blue. The included remote features dedicated iPod control keys that simulate the iPod control wheel layout and users are able to easily shuffle, repeat, scroll, and select songs from the iPod menu.

Also announced today was the JVC UX-G28, another three-piece desktop system. Among its features is USB Host, allowing playback of music files from external USB mass storage devices, including flash audio players, card readers and USB memory drives. Other features include 16 watts of total power, CD player, AM/FM tuner, timer/clock and a front analog audio input.
