Los Angeles, CA - The next meeting of the Los Angeles Final Cut Pro User Group (lafcpug) will be Wednesday, July 23 beginning at 6:45PM at the Gallery Theater in E. Hollywood California. It will be a jam packed show on this hot July night and you will not want to miss it. Something for everyone this time. Plus food!
Join us as we welcome back DVD guru Bruce Nazarian who will demonstrate a simple Mac FCP/FCS-to-Blu-ray workflow for both blu-ray media and red-laser media. Also Steve Martin of Ripple Training returns to lafcpug to show off and talk about the one Pro App in the Final Cut Studio suite that no one seems to understand, but should, Soundtrack Pro 2.
Also the students from SFETT will make their annual pilgrimage to lafcpug to show and tell all about their upcoming iCan 9 Film Festival in San Fernando, CA. Also editor Derek Mok will take us into the ‘Process of Editing’ by comparing before and after clips from a narrative film he cut and the “what and why” decisions that went into achieving the “final cut.” Plus Stump The Gurus, Show and Tells and of course, World Famous Raffle.
A $5.00 USD donation will be requested at the door. Doors open at 6PM. lafcpug meetings are open to the public. First come, best seat. For complete details including directions to the Gallery Theater go to the lafcpug web site.
