This new ad is totally different, it is about human, about people interacting with their PCs, creationists, designers, celebrities, teachers and even the Conquistador himself (Bill Gates), but it is totally impossible to take apart from those humans the bad experiences they have suffered using Windows, how viruses destroyed their long hours work and how a scanner driver reset the whole computer and put your time in captivity.

Now Microsoft turns to the most important subject: Human, Microsoft has been selling Windows to everybody as we all were corporate, buy buy buy without any guarantee that your Windows experience will be the better one.

The most important part is the African teacher and her students, they are the PC, they are forced to use it because there’s nothing else in some places, all other celebrities are false, if Longoria PC fails, she buys a new one.

This new ad is without doubt the best ad from Microsoft if we put it together with their other ones, but if you’ve watched it you may find that there is too much people talking too fast and you get nothing concrete, Microsoft is out telling people, yes we are the PC guy, with this new ad all your Windows XP and Vista problems will cease immediately.

In the end, Chopra, Longoria and even the Bill Gates could help me when Windows Vista doesn’t want to work properly or spend 1 hours moving 5 GB of files from my USB 2 external disc. A good ad like this could ONLY HELP when the product advertised really brings the same level of satisfaction that the ad is trying to sell you. I remember when Seal made the soundtrack for Batman, the soundtrack was the only thing really interesting about that movie and with this new ad (excellent ad) Microsoft is selling an empty promise, turn on your pc and all your Windows problems will disappear because of the ad….

Where is Microsoft commitment to change everything? and you know what, the price of Windows Vista is out of proportion and the returning experience is not the expected…. Go Microsoft, you already changed the ad, now make Windows works….. ALWAYS.
