Sonic Boom turns your iPhone into a virtual firecracker that can be ignited using your finger as a virtual match or a second phone running Sonic Lighter. Strike the match, ignite the fuse, wait…BOOM!

Sonic Boom’s real-time explosions can be documented around the world – since it first became available just 36 hours ago, over 7,409 explosions have been detected. While explosions thus far have been concentrated in North America and Europe, several recent explosions were detected in the town of Curepipe, Mauritius in the Southwest Indian Ocean.

Sonic Boom turns your iPhone into a virtual firecracker that can be ignited either using your finger as a virtual match or a second phone running Sonic Lighter. Sonic Boom users are able to:

· Resize the firecracker (and TNT) with a vertical pinch gesture or resize the fuse length (and time) with a horizontal pinch gesture. For those with more elaborate combustive plans, go ahead and graft a picture on the firecracker
· Touch to explore the exploded debris and use the time bar to slow down or speed up an explosion
· Alternatively you can use the Sonic Lighter to ignite your fuse
· See and hear actual explosions around the world: tap the Smule logo to get the icon bar, and then tap the globe
