HDR software Photomatix Pro updated to version 3.1

Montpellier, France – HDRsoft announces the release of Photomatix Pro 3.1. Designed for professional photographers and advanced amateurs, Photomatix Pro combines differently exposed photographs of a high contrast scene into one image with details in both highlights and shadows.

With a focus on ease-of-use, Photomatix Pro is a stand-alone application which enables users to blend exposures hassle-free, allowing them to create and process 32-bit HDR images using a powerful tone mapping tool. The software includes automatic alignment of hand-held photos, options for ghosting reduction and automation with a powerful batch processing tool.

The new version adds options to automatically reduce chromatic aberrations and noise in HDR images, as well as several settings to its most popular exposure blending method. Version 3.1 also offers smooth integration with Adobe Lightroom thanks to a Lightroom Export Plug-in to Photomatix Pro.

Pricing and Availability:
Photomatix Pro runs on Mac OS X (version 10.3.9 and higher) and Windows XP/Vista. A single user license for Photomatix Pro is $99 (USD). The upgrade to version 3.1 is free of charge for licensed users of Photomatix Pro version 2.x and version 3.0. Special educational discounts are available for academics and students.
