Berlin, Germany – nova media today unveiled launch2net version 1.8.7, which features a new connection statistic and supports more mobile devices. launch2net is a mobile Internet connection wizard which allows to establish mobile Internet connections worldwide. The software supports many mobile phones, most USB modems and datacards and already includes drivers and network access information for a hassle free online experience.
“The new version features a statistic window, which provides detailed information about each connection, like the average speed, the communication port used and the IMSI number of the SIM card used, besides others.” states Jan Fuellemann, PR spokesperson at nova media. “Of course you can see the data volume transferred or the time spent online at a glance.”
The powerful configuration assistant automatically detects a mobile device and configures the mobile Internet connection in seconds without the need to enter cryptic settings like user names, passwords or modem scripts. In addition, launch2net saves the user from high roaming costs for mobile data as it is possible to use a prepaid card in other countries and use launch2net to connect your Mac to the Internet again.
Pricing and Availability:
launch2net is available online for Euro 75.00 plus VAT (US-$ 75.00 plus VAT for residents in the US and Canada). System requirement is Mac OS X 10.4.3 or higher.
