Did Apple Forget the MacMini at all?

We all have seen the recent updates to the range of laptops at the WWDC Keynote, which gives them, like the current iMac, can accommodate up to 8 GB of RAM. With these characteristics, these Macs are more than ready for Mac OS X Snow Leopard. But what about the Mac mini? It was also updated with iMacs on March 3, but is much less the rest of the range of hardware from Apple: The basic configuration has only 1 GB of RAM and a 2.0 GHz processor.
Surely, the MacMini can be upgraded to 4GB of Ram and a processor cappacity of 2,26 GHz, and it has a price that make the clients instead of buy a MacMini buy an iMac.It is prepared to run MacOS Snow Leopard,obviously, but like the last time it is getting behing of the rest of Apple Computers.
But,Why Apple is not Redesigning it or spending a lot of time to uptade it? One of the possible reasons is the little margin of benefits, Apple gets more money selling iMacs and laptops than selling the cheapest computer in their line.
Many people think that Apple needs to make a fusion between The Mac Mini and The Apple TV because they cost almost the same price and the Apple Tv does less functions than the Mini.

never been a fan of mac mini, there are lots of products with the same functions of mac mini also has other great features as well.

I'm also not a fan of it. But I think it looks good. Having more upgrade the latest gadgets will be the latest popular in the market.
