Yamaha introduced the TSX-140 Desktop Audio System with integrated iPod/iPhone dock featuring IntelliAlarm functionality.

With earth-inspired color choices, the TSX-140 is beautiful to the eye and ear, offering compact, elegant design. It represents the latest addition to Yamaha’s TSX family of docks compatible with Apple’s iPod Touch and iPhone (3G/3GS/4). Moreover, the Yamaha TSX-140 is capable of playing MP3 and WMA files stored on a USB stick, as well as FM/AM radio programming.

With its twin 3-1/2 inch ported bass reflex speakers and Yamaha digital amplifiers, the TSX-140 delivers its superlative performance through Concert Quality Sound, a proprietary Yamaha concept that virtually eliminates all unnecessary noise and distortion, and Extended Stereo, which creates a perceptually larger stereo sound field through Yamaha DSP.

Unique to Yamaha, the TSX-140’s IntelliAlarm wakes you gently with the audio source of your choosing, first filtering out uncomfortable high frequencies, then gradually restoring the full audio spectrum before beeping to ensure you are awake. The IntelliAlarm provides a gentle, stress-free feeling that makes waking up a pleasure.

For added convenience, the TSX-140 offers a USB mini-B connector that facilitates iPod/iPhone syncing to a computer while charging in the dock. New Denon CEOLNetwork Music System with iPhone dock

Denon unveiled the £600 CEOL by Denon Network Music System in Europe. It integrates Denon’s revered hi-fi sound engineering into an incredibly compact footprint and shines with boundless media playback possibilities, including Internet Radio, network music streaming, iPod/iPhone, USB memory, AirPlay and much more.

The RCD-N7 is a compact network CD receiver that lets users dock their iPod or iPhone into a dedicated cradle on the Ceol’s top to enjoy music via a direct digital feed. A fast broadband connection to the Internet is achieved via an Ethernet cable or wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), allowing for a unique music experience anywhere at home. Since the RCD-N7 supports WPS, it is incredibly easy to connect to a Wi-Fi network and immediately enjoy the benefits, like playing music files from a PC or directly from DLNA network hard discs or listen to more than 15,000 Internet radio stations worldwide. The Ceol also offers AirPlay music streaming via a feature upgrade.

Apple forced HyperMac to kill Macbook charger

HyperMac has been forced by an Apple lawsuit to stop selling the popular external battery charger, the battery used the MagSafe cable connector and Apple jumped on them with a cold and quick suit that ended up with a definitive cease from HyperMac. Other HyperMac products were named in the lawsuit like the MBP-PRO, MBP-AIR, MBP-CAR a MacBook car charger.

Harman announced the JBL On Stage Micro IV iPod/iPhone speaker docking station in a brand-new industrial design: the Weave. The JBL On Stage is now in its fourth generation.

The JBL On Stage IV uses four Odyssey transducers, emitting rich and clear sound for any environment such as dorm rooms, backyard patios or the beach. It includes an AC adapter or can be powered by six AA batteries that will provide up to 16 hours of normal play.

The JBL On Stage IV is compatible with most docking iPod and iPhone devices, and includes the Apple iPod universal dock adapter.
