Mobile.me: The center of our mobile universe

Nobody knows for sure what Apple is planning with mobile.me (the soon to be defunct .mac) service, if everything works à la Apple then it will be a success, in the mean time there are things that Apple needs to incorporate to make it even more interesting. Here is a list of what I consider to be features needed by mobile users: 1. Free Email account (Manager) Apple should provide a free email account for everybody and an Email Account Manager if you are a corporation or have more than one email account. The Email Account Manager will let you send and receive mails from any account. 2. iCal Sync This feature is a must have and of course will be included in any mobile service Apple provides. 3. Business Card on the Go Want to beam your business card to your clients of friend, then Business Card on the Go will let you share your contact information as a vCard file readable by Address Book. 4. Centralized Content This feature will let you collect information (excel data, quicktime, powerpoint and) and share it with our friend sending it from your iPhone to any iPhone user preselected. 5. Apple we need a Macbook Mini

While you can get a refurbished Macbook for $900, it is too much for a vast majory of pc users willing to change to mac, an Eee Pc is about $399.99, loaded with Windows and ready to rumble, with this price point, there is not space for Apple to compete or maybe the margin is too small that doing so will be a waste of time. Apple can create a new line of Macbook (the Macbook Mini), a $600 subnotebook loaded with features that provide a better experience, dual booting by default (Bootcamp installed), so Windows users will need to install their favorite Windows version. The new Mini laptop must be aimed a young students that can carry it everywhere, drop it, scratch it, paint it and make whatever they decide and the machine still works, something like the eMate, call it a UMPC if you want, but it must be small, cheaper and must come with mac os x installed, wifi, 3g, bluetooth and touchscreen. I would like to see some improvement on Apple TV, that Apple polishes this little box and turn it into a home media server with features that suit every member of the family, here is what I want on Apple TV: 1. islsk brings P2P sharing to the iphone/ipod touch
